DRS has partnered with Ford as a supplier for dozens of specialty vehicle parts. This partnership includes in house tool design and manufacturing, injection molding, quality and inventory management, as well as managing secondary paint and chrome applications.
Within Ford, DRS is known, in particular, for providing specialty grilles. As such DRS has provided grilles for the Cobra, Pony, Pony Express, Mustang, 50th Anniversary Mustang, and California Special series. In 2014 & 2015 DRS also manufactured the grilles for the NASCAR Ford Fusion racecars.
